Iphone 12 mini has gap between screen and frame

I noticed that my Iphone Mini has gaps around the whole phone. Gaps are between the screen and frame enough to fit a paper.

Apple customer service advised me to take the unit in a service center for checking.

What can be the reason for this?

iPhone XR - line of dead pixels slowly extending from right edge of screen Not sure if anyone has encountered this weird phenomenon. My iPhone XR started having a line of dead pixels which progressively stretched from the right edge and eventually reached the left edge after some hours. What was even more surprising is that after reaching the left edge, the next line of pixels immediately above it started doing the same. Probably display hardware showing signs of progressive failure? Doing hard reboot doesn’t help. The line actually shows up in the Apple logo screen.

My iPhone 13 mini has a gap that collects dust My iPhone 13 mini has a gap between the screen and body that collects dust. The dust can be quite annoying. Is the gap normal? Should I return it and get a new one while I still can? What's the possibility that the new one would have a gap as well? Because I really don't feel like going through the whole new phone setup process again.

We can't tell what the reason is. But you should do what you were advised to do and that is take it to Apple for evaluation. If they determine there is an issue with the phone, that's what the one year warranty is for.

It is a cosmetic issue and does not need replacing.

The gasket that seals out moisture and dust is under the glass.
