Activity tracking

Hi , I work as an associate for Amazon warehouse. I have recently bought an Apple Watch and was really excited to wear and keep track of my fitness at work but unfortunately they are not allowing me or anyone to wear apple or smart watches inside the facility. I would like to know if there is any way I could sync the activity app from my watch to my iphone and keep track of steps and calories burnt on my phone and after them to be transferred from my iphone to my Apple Watch ?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Any steps etc recorded on your phone goes straight to the health app,it doesn't go to the watch as the watch is an accessory of the phone and is a completly separate entity.
