Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
Hi
I don’t receive messages, or any notifications from WhatsApp, Instagram or Snapchat unless I open these apps. It’s as if my internet is switched off until I enter the apps. No other social media apps are affected like this.
This has been going on for a month. I’ve checked that my notifications are switched on for these apps. The problem continues, regardless of if I’m using mobile data or wifi.
How do I fix this problem?

I had this issue not long ago, what I did was backup my chats on WhatsApp, then uninstall and reinstall the app. Also do the same for Instagram & snapchat, but you obviously don't have to back up anything on those 2, just sign in again when you reinstall the apps. This fixed the issue on WhatsApp & instagram for me, I don't know about snapchat because I don't use it.

If that happens using those apps only, I'd suggest that you contact their support teams and ask them.

I updated them but didn’t think to redownload them. It worked with Snapchat do far, so I’m sure the others will work too!
