I recently asked a question about waterproof. That was my mistake, I was thought Iphones are waterproof. Whatever, my question is I have Iphone XS. It's more then 2 years old. It's physically unopened and fresh. Does my phone still water-resistant? Can I directly wash my phone by water?
Water resistance is not a permanent condition. It was only ever splash resistant before. Probably somewhat less so now. Don't use it outside in the pouring rain and try to avoid getting it wet.

No as you may get water in the phone and water damage it and water resistant won’t last forever, so don’t try it. :)
