Zooming issue
I have an iMac 21.5"using Catalina. Whenever I open any kind of map using Chrome, the screen zooms in and out at random and I am unable to stabilise the image.

you can try going into System Preferences>Mouse in the "point & click" tab and see if "smart zoom" is selected.
if it is selected, un-checkmark it and the "unexpected" zooming will stop.

When you use a third party app (Chrome) then you can introduce all types of issues. However, in your case I think it's simply user error not knowing how to zoom and un-zoom. I would recommend using Google to research a bit so you can learn a bit more about Mac OS.
Thanks for your reply. I have tried using Safari but it doesn't solve the problem. I don't know what you mean about learning more about Mac OS.
Thank you, but the box was not checked so that can't be the problem.
