Why does my health app and my activity app shows two different step counts for the same day

Hi there,



It sounds as if the health app is still using data collected from your iPhone for steps.


You can alter this in the health app, if you find and select the “Steps” page. Scroll to the very bottom and under options you will find “Data Sources & Access”. By selecting edit on the top right of this page you will be able to change where your steps are synced from by moving your data sources so that your Apple Watch is above your iPhone.
