I'm automating volume on a track. Suddenly the entire automation for the track turned gray instead of yellow. When I try to make more volume automation edits they are ignored and the track plays the automation that was in place before it turned gray. No idea why it turned gray from yellow

It looks like the way my tracks are configured there's no On/Off button. But what I did do that worked was I created an identical track, then copy/pasted the regions that weren't working on the source track. When I pasted it, all the automation data was there and the volume automation functioning yellow. So I'm back in business. Thank you for the alternate solution.
