IMOVIE on Big Sur

We understand you'd like to be able to play an iDVD project created in iMovie with a new Mac running Big Sur. We'd be happy to help.

To clarify, are you having an issue when attempting to play them using the latest version of iMovie? If so, what specifically happens when attempting to open the file in iMovie?

iDVD is a 32 bit app that will not work on Big Sur or Catalina. If you had burned the iDVD project to a DVD disc or saved it as a disc image, then you could play the DVD disc with an internal or internal optical drive, and you could play the disc image with the DVD Player app on your Mac.
