Why can’t a locked note password be reset?

I have a locked note but can’t get into it. Is there a way to reset and open the note?

Is there really no way to unlock a locked note? I was dumb and wanted to do something that everyone else does. I locked my note and forgot my password. I know what words y includes but not the combination and it’s so frustrating. Is there really not a SINGLE way to retrieve a locked note? If so that’s really questionable. PS. This note has around 5k words.

locked note I locked a note on my iphone 11. I can not remember the password. I tried to change my password in setting and it did the the note still will not unlock. It also will not open via Face ID. Any suggestions?

I accidentally locked a note and now I can’t open it. How to unlock a note that is password protected by accident?

Because that would be insecure.
