disable data protection on iphone

Hi,

The 'erase data' is switched on in my phone in 'data protection'. This deletes all data in my iphone after 4 failed passcode attempts. Please help me to switch the 'erase data' option 'off'.

Thanks in advance

Hello akanksha_3003,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're wanting to turn off the "Erase Data" feature with too many failed passcode attempts. You should be able to tap that green slider to turn this feature off, and it should show after 10 failed attempts. Is that what you see and what happens when you try to turn it off? Here's more information on that feature, just in case: Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Keep us posted.

Take care.
