Apple Watch series 3 not syncing with fitness

Hi, my Apple Watch series 3 doesn’t sync with Apple Fitness +.


I have wiped my Apple Watch and repaired twice to my iPhone 8.


the message states that they needed to be connected via WiFi and Bluetooth and both are connected. My Apple Watch syncs data from my phone so I know it’s connected.


Any resolution yet to this issue or is it a force you to upgrade your already compatible watch policy...?

Thanks- the resolution for me was to uninstall Apple Home app, sign out of My Apple account, sign back in again then install the home app. I then added my Roku device to the home app and then the Apple Watch and fitness plus app synched. I then had to add my payment options into my settings as these were switched off in my iPhone when I signed out of my Apple account. The reason I had to do this is the video wouldn’t play as it thought I was no longer a subscriber.
