Hi there ann2766,
It appears that you're having a problem using the trackpad on your Mac while connected to your office's server using Microsoft Remote Desktop. You're unable to pinch the display in or out, and we're glad to provide assistance.

Thanks for getting back to us, ann2766. It's appreciated.
Are you able to use the trackpad as expected with other apps on your MacBook Pro? Is Microsoft Remote Desktop up to date? The answers will help isolate the issue further for us to help.
Take care.
Thank you for that information. Since this is only happening with Microsoft Remote Desktop, you'll need to reach out to your IT department or Microsoft Support.
Have a great day!
Hi
I am currently using the 13-inch MacBook Pro | Apple M1 chip | 256GB - Space Grey. I don't think I can reset the SMC as it looks like my computer does not have the T2 chip. I checked on my computers system information.
Please advise?
Thanks
Yes the trackpad works 100% with all other apps. It's just Microsoft RD where I can't pinch to zoom and scrolling up/down is a little sluggish. Yes the app is up to date.
