Homepod Mini & Network name

As many I have issues with the Homepod Mini's WiFi stability. So I've been trying some things and discovered that I change the name of my home network the Homepod always connects. But ...

When I go back to my original network name the Homepod can't connect and will it will also not transfer Wifi networksetting from a changed Network name to my old. You problably wonder why not change the networkname this is easier said then done. All devices need to reconnect to the new network name and for some that is a big issue.

Question is, does this situation sounds familiar and is there something else then restoring factory setting which i have done 15 times to test this, that I can do to use my current WiFi network name?

@Apple any solution? Fix in the firmware?

Annoying is that the Homepod Mini worked fine with the old network name until today.

HomePod should be able to inherit known network connections from your iPhone via iCloud KeyChain. Perhaps there is something about the setup that doesn't work correctly but is captured in the configuration. You may be able to go back to your preferred SSID, forget the network from your phone and reconnect to it, then reset the HomePod to set it up again from scratch.
