Cannot Update Apps purchased under an old Apple ID

I tried very hard to locate the password for an old Apple ID @cfl.rr.com. I do have another Apple ID and I know the password.

Can Apple send me a temporary password for an old Apple ID? I looked in keychain too.

I really need some help,
