How can I backup a broken iPhone?

If i broke my phone screen and can no longer unlock it, how can i get my photos and etc. to another phone?

If you were using iCloud to sync photos you can sign into iCloud on your other phone and synced items will appear on the other device. The same will apply to other synced items.


If you were using automatic iCloud backups on your old phone you could restore the iCloud backup to the new phone and likely a lot of other things would be restored too.

Recovering These:

A. Check iCloud:

Using the following link, use iCloud, and see if they reside in there: https://www.icloud.com/photos


B. Other Storage:

See if these reside in other storage locations(i.e. USB Flash Drive, or eMail)


If Unrecoverable:

If they cannot be found, then they are unrecoverable. That's just the way it is :(
