Anti-virus app

Do I need an anti-virus app for my iPhone such as TotalAV? I thought Apple’s own security was sufficient but keep reading articles which make me unsure.

You do not need any antivirus app on your phone. It wouldn’t work due to the sandbox nature of the phone.
