iCloud back up

You can backup with iCloud and also sync certain items with iCloud. However, whatever you sync with iCloud is not included in the backup.

I suspect that you are claiming that your iCloud backups are not completing or are not taking place at all. You have plenty of storage space so that can be ruled out. You can try shutting of iCloud backups, restart your device and then try backing up again. I also recommend turning off WiFi as well. This may not work, but I have suggested this to several people and they had success with it as have I.

Go to Settings>Your Name>iCloud>Apps using iCloud>iCloud Backup>Off.

Turn Off WiFi in the Settings.

Restart your phone.

Turn WiFi on again.

Go to Settings>Your Name>iCloud>Apps using iCloud>iCloud Backup>Backup Now.
