MBP: cannot turn off bluetooth

Hi,

I bought a Magic Trackpad this week and paired it with my MacBook Pro (15", 2.2ghz). Today, I wanted to attach the trackpad to my Mini and disconnected it from the MBP. I removed the trackpad from the Bluetooth devices under System Prefs > Bluetooth.

However, despite rebooting and trying everything I can think of, whenever I go to turn off Bluetooth, I receive a message saying "You cannot control your computer if you turn off Bluetooth at this time."

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Boot from your install disc & run _*Repair Disk*_ from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select *Disk Utility.*

Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click *First Aid.*
Click _*Repair Disk.*_
Restart your computer when done.

I can confirm I have the very same bug. I have Apple's Magic Mouse, and the Bluetooth Keyboard. I can't turn off Bluetooth sometimes, and it's quite annoying. Today my Magic Mouse ran out of batteries. I put in another fresh pair, and it wouldn't connect. Tried to turn bluetooth off/on, without success. I do hope this bug will be fixed in an update.
