How to remove apps on the watch

How can I remove apps from my Apple Watch 3 so I can free up space to have the latest OS update installed.

You can delete them either from your watch or also from the iphone. Check the guidance here:

However better option for clearing that space on the S3 is to unpair and pair again. You will still keep all your apps and settings during that process. Start from here:

Thank you for the guidance. After manually removing apps to free up space, it still didn't work. So, I unpaired it and paired it back. For some reason, it worked. Appreciate it!!
