I deleted everything and it’s still telling me my storage is full?? Im so angry

Why does it tell me my storage is full after I deleted everything & reset my phone. All the apps I have on my phone are needed for everyday use. And im not interested to upgrading to more more iCloud storage cause that’s so pointless. I need more storage! I don’t even have anything on my phone and I’m not able to take a picture or nothing! This is annoying as ****.
