Apple Watch

I brought a 2nd hand series 6 Apple Watch and didn’t know there was a activation lock on it cause they left their iCloud still on it and I can’t access to it at all unless I get rid of the activation lock cause they forgot to erase the watch off their phone. I can’t contact them at all. Can someone please help.
