Can deleted music be recovered?
I deleted a few thousand songs inadvertently and emptied the trash, is there a way to recover the songs? Some were purchased through iTunes some I had recorded. Thank you

For purchased songs, you can download fresh copies (subject to availability) as follows:
Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books - Apple Support
For the others, once you empty the Trash they are gone, unless you have a backup or have been using Mac Time Machine.
