The iMessage text about sending to 12 people to get 120 emojis is back out there

The same scam iMessage text about 120 emojis is going around. I got it today from someone and disregarded it. Since my friend did send it out to people is there any impact to her. Should she update passwords or there is no security risk just a joke on the people who do it.
