Battery Drain

Battery is draining faster After updating to iPadOS 14.4 and the drain increased after iPadOS 14.4.1 and 14.4.2. Device is also heating up a lot.

What year and model iPad do you have/own?

The “A” model number can be found on aluminium back of your iPad in small print right under the larger bold print “iPad”.

What iOS/iPadOS version is this iPad, currently, running?

Wouldn’t charging too often effect battery health and decrease it and further shorten lifespan and Battery usage. I don’t have access to a lightening port often time and Feel it uncomfortable to use it while charging as it takes a lot of time to charge

Charge it when not in use. Day and night. You can not overcharge it.

Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
