iPhone 11 Pro Max will not turn on

Hi there. My name is Haley. My iPhone will not turn on. I went to send a text message yesterday and it would not send so I turned my phone off to then turn it back on. And it is just stuck in the black screen with the Apple. What steps can I try to do?
