iPhone in the cold

why does my iPhone 11 Pro Max screen become non responsive at chillier temperatures? When I say chillier I’m not talking freezing. It becomes non responsive at 55 and colder. Is this a defect? I paid a ton for the phone and it’s done it since I got it when it came out.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max Screen turns pink(crashes) and restarts, when it's cold outside(aprox. 0 Celsius) I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max for a month. Every single time when I go outside and the tempreture is below 0 Celsius the screen turns pink and the phone randomly crashes, then automatically restarts. But after the restart if I try to use my phone, it does the same thing. So I can't use my phone outside. :( Can you help me? What can I do with this thing?

It’s not normal. The operating temperature range is 32º to 90º. Use the Get Support link at the top of this screen to discuss repair options.

Make an appointment and have your iPhone inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.

After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
