Is anyone experiencing issues replying to Slack messages from your Apple Watch?

I have an Apple Watch Series 4, and receive Slack messages on it via "mirror my iPhone" in Apple Watch's Notifications settings. The Slack alerts/messages are coming through just fine, but when I reply on my Apple Watch, the reply never shows up to the recipient; it's not in the message window on Slack on my iPhone, iPad or MacBook Air.

This worked until a few days ago. I know there is no Slack app for Apple Watch - I'm not asking for that. I just want to be able to reply to Slack messages from my Apple Watch the way I always have been doing.
