It seems like when I am wearing fluorescent yellow/green the face ID does not work on my phone. Is there a reason for this?

Doing the alternate image (under settings/Face ID) helps. It doesn’t always seem to work, but I noticed that when I hold my phone away from my face a little more then it kicks in. Obviously, being someone that has to work in Hi-viz clothing this is important!
It may change the colour of your skin ny reflection.
Add an alternative image while wearing the high-viz clothes.

There may be improvements in 14.5 when they are rumoured to be allowing mask wearing .
