RJ45 to Lightning Adapter from china

May it be a risk for the security of my iPhone to use a RJ45 to lightning adapter with it?

Is it possible that in the adapter which I want to buy at Amazon or EBay software is hidden that hacks my iPhone or send data to the company which produced it for example?
