Updating Yosemite OS to Big Sur if possible
My iMac is running Yosemite 10.10.5. Can I update the OS in order to install MS Teams for my kids to use for school?

Its maximum OS is High Sierra.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your iMac is a 2014 or newer model, click on Big Sur. Otherwise, no.

Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB

I know it's old. Just wondering if I can update OS vs. buying new computer for kids to use for school distance learning. Need MS Teams to do so.
Ok, thank you. Sounds like it's time to make sure my photos are backed up to iCloud and convert this computer to an internet content streaming monitor/display.
