How do I enable printing from Macbook Pro for Brother MFC-J995DW

I tried to look up instructions to install the Brother MFC-J995DW printer using network, wifi, connect USB and all methods and none of them have worked for me. The device just does not want to get enabled for printing from Mac machine.

I would love to learn about some hacks or tricks to determine if this is a problem with the printer itself and return it.
