iPad says printer offline when it isn’t
Hello,
I can’t print from my iPad as it says printer is offline when I know it isn’t as I can print from phone and laptop. Wireless hp printer.

To start, we want to make sure that your iPad is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your printer is. After ensuring that the iPad and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, try using the print function again following the guidance listed here:
We would also recommend checking to see if there are any software updates available for the iPad by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
We'd like to ask some additional questions to get a better understanding if the issue continues to happen.
- When did you first notice this behavior happen on the iPad? Have you been able to print from it in the past?
- Does this happen every time you try printing, or only sometimes?
