This was previously “solved” saying reset the phone but I’ve reset several times and Apple Maps still shows I have two homes.

I found it wasn't a favorite, it was just still in my places.
So it was similar, but found this way: Click the item, slide up, click my places, slide up, sort by distance, and slide the item left to get a delete button. So for me it's solved. thx
