When I go to Security & Privacy in system preferences, the only apps that are listed for camera and microphone are Chrome and Zoom. I want to record myself presenting a PowerPoint. Is this no longer possible in Big Sur?

PowerPoint doesn't ask either of those questions. When I click on either the crossed-off camera or microphone icon, it opens the system settings security and privacy window, which doesn't show PowerPoint.
I found a Chrome extension called Outklip that does exactly what I want (picture-in-picture with me presenting a PowerPoint), and it works perfectly! Problem solved!

Powerpoint needs to ask to use those things. You cannot grant it access without it asking.
When you go to Record the slide show, this is what you should see:
Version 16.47
No need to do that.
Just make your PowerPoint.
Chrome doesn't need it either. Google just wants your data.

What version of Powerpoint. My 2019 version asked, as shown.
That version should be able to ask. I don’t know why it doesn’t. Maybe ask Microsoft.
