I forgot my login password my very old MacBook

I forgot my login password my very old MacBook. The numbers on this keyboard are not working and I have tried to reset my login password in Utilities with no luck. I can us some of this keyboard. My question is, Is there a sequence of keyboard commands that I can use to erase the Login Password such as Command Option R P?
