Hi, after buying a kindle book and choosing download to Mac, it doesn’t download there, but to my kindle.
it is installed on my Mac.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2
You will need to go to your Amazon Kindle account and list your MacBook Air as one of the devices that you want to receive the books.
Being curious, I double-checked my Amazon Kindle device list and verified that my MacBook Pro was on it. I then tried downloading a book to my Mac and it did so successfully ... so I'm not sure what the issue may be for you not being able to do so with yours. You may want to contact Amazon support for additional assistance with this matter.
