I have a new iPhone 12 mini, trying to do the set up over Bluetooth off an old iphone6. It has been going for 3 or 4 hours and still just saying it is setting up. We have for poor internet reception but I thought it wouldn’t be using internet with Bluetooth? What do i do?
You need to have both Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi connection. The Bluetooth process only transfers settings and app data to the phone; after than all other content (apps themselves, music, videos, etc) is downloaded from the iTunes & App Store.
