Apple is likely just buying them as-is from another company. Asking them to add the feature is like you going to an electronics store and saying they should add a feature to the Sony TVs they sell. It isn't up to them. It is up to Beats-DRE. Until revently this wasn't an option since Find My was an Apple-products-only thing, but now:

You will have to find them by conventional means. Although they are sold by Apple they are a third party device and do not have the Find My features of Airpods.
