Ipod Nano 4gb Model A1236

Hi everyone,


My old iPod is not being recognised by iTunes - have done some research and even after carrying out steps as suggested - no luck.


Running Mojave 10.14.6 - is this the issue ?

Mac mini, macOS 10.14

Thank you for keeping us posted. Have you also had the chance to try a different cable when attempting to sync your iPod nano to your Mac or a different computer?

Have you had the chance to make sure that the port on your iPod nano is free of any dirt or debris?

If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod


If yes, have you had the chance to check if you will experience the issue if you connect the device to a different computer?
