If my phone says I’m connected or logged into device such as iPad can someone see my info on the iPad like pictures messages ect.

If you are using the same Apple ID on your iPhone and iPad then both devices will share Photos, Text Messages etc. If the iPad is not yours or is in use by someone else then that iPad should have a separate Apple ID so that information is not overlapped.
