Email on both my iPad and iPhone

Hello

My iPhone and iPad are connected, but when I delete my email from my iPhone it does not automatically delete the email from my iPad and vice versa. It used to, but for some reason it doesn’t now.

Can you give me some guidance on how J can make this happen?
