What is Airpod's pro water damage clause ?

As per apple customer service, My Airpod case came in contact with water. According to them charging pin is having corrosion from outside. No water sign inside my case. My pods never came in contact with water and case is still fully functional without having any any issues. I have ear tip test failed issue and battery performance issue since beginning . Then why they are fooling me just to avoid service. We paid huge amount to buy apple products now they are providing service like Xiaomi and Samsung.
