Change email for receipts

I had my receipts set up to be sent to an @icloud account that I do not use, and I need them sent (not forwarded) to my @gmail account to get credit for them. I’ve updated my Apple ID to match the gmail, I’ve signed out and back in, and when I “resend” the receipt it still goes to the iCloud account. How can I fix this?

It sounds as though you're wanting prior receipts for iTunes and App Store purchases to be sent to your new email address, not resent to the email address previously used to receive the receipts. Ensuring receipts are being received properly is important, and you've come to a great place for help.


Updating your email as you have is a great step to ensure future receipts are received properly. Have you received new receipts to the updated email address? If so, and the issue is only with previous receipts it would be recommended to contact Apple. You can find their contact details via the Get Support website.
