Iphone in Portugal

I plan on moving to Portugal shortly. I want to buy a new Iphone before I go. Will a US Iphone work with European carriers?

Yes, it should. If you bought your iPhone from your carrier direct, it is probably locked, which will prevent you from using other carriers with your phone until you get it unlocked.

If you did buy your phone from your carrier I suggest you either contact them to get it unlocked.

If you didn’t buy your phone from your carrier, you should be good to go.
