Question: How do I stop auto-capitalisation on i?

In English the word i is always capitalised, but in Norwegian it's a common preposition and having it auto-capitalise drives me up the wall.

I changed document language to Norwegian.

I also added I to ignored words.

I don't want to turn off the entire thing because even though my pinky is good at hitting the shift key when needed it's not perfect so it's handy dandy to have it correct me otherwise. Why would changing the document language not work?
