It’s been 12 hours. The old pad said transfer is complete but new pad shows over half the apps are still downloading. The method I used brought the two pads side by side after using the camera to start the process. What’s wrong?

It sounds like you are transferring your data to your new iPad. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.
You have already completed the transfer, now it is downloading the apps from the internet and finishing up final steps. The first iPad is no longer needed at this time. The download depends on how quick your internet speed is.
