iphone 12 purple colour permanent

Hi, so Apple just released a new colour for the iPhone 12, which is the purple colour. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was going to be a permanent colour in the iPhone 12 line, or if it is only offered during a period of time (eg. just for the Spring)?
