Book app is too slow on a single book that has too many notes on it

I was reading my epub book and taking notes on it, everything was fine until notes became too much, maybe around 1000 or so, after that the app responds so late.  It takes 30 seconds to add a note to a single word. Other books works good, adding notes to other books take only a sec.

Is there any solution?
