That's support for what Apple refers to as "Precision Finding". Precision Finding is compatible with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Precision Finding requires the iPhone have the Apple U1 chip.

For "imprecise" AirTag finding, then pretty much anything running iOS 14.5 will work same as Find My, as Alancito correctly mentions above.
