my beats solo model A1796 no longer power up, the headphones work when directly connected to a source, please help

my beats solo headphone model A1796 no longe power up, no lights and no response when connected to multiple power devices that do work. when directly connected to earphone jack of sound sources, they work, do I need a new battery?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like your Beats aren’t charging, which prevents you from using them via Bluetooth. We can certainly understand why you’d want a resolution. 


It looks like you may have completed the steps in the linked article "Sound troubleshooting – Beats headphones and earphones”. Please also, reset them and test to see if the issue continues: Reset your Beats on-ear or over-ear headphones
